Decisions

The choices you make in life are important. You may make the best decision in the world and it stays that way. But other times something seems like the best decision but later you regret it or maybe it comes back to haunt you or even turns to the worst decision. Whatever it turns out to be, if you let your mind wander as I often do, you reconsider some of them. Today I constantly had one decision I made running through my brain. I'm regreting it. I think I let my mind wander too much. But maybe it's good for me and I'm saving myself from future hurt. But even more likely, I'm setting myself up for hurt.

Unexpected

Sometimes the person comforting you is really the one hurting you. You don't realize it at first but you get some time to think and figure out who it is. This realization is like a knife to your heart because you think "It can't be them." The thing is you love them so much you couldn't bare to tell them that they're the cause or your pain. Sometimes the pain may be over something stupid but to you it's really important. Every hug they give you is just the same knife striking your heart over and over again.
